‘We have evidence’ to prosecute Obama

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard claimed there was evidence to prosecute former President Barack Obama for his administration's intelligence assessment of Russia’s 2016 election interference.

Gabbard declassified documents last week that she claimed provided evidence that the Obama administration’s intelligence officials “manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork” for the FBI’s later investigation into Russian ties to President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

Gabbard said she was referring documents from Obama administration officials to the Justice Department in a “criminal matter."

“We’re going to provide everything that we have, everything that we will continue to gather to the Department of Justice for that direct intent and that direct purpose,” Gabbard said on Fox News.

Except that the Supreme Court said that anything he did as president cannot be prosecuted. So a dude who hasn't been president for more than 8 years, could be impeached, but what's the point?

The SCOTUS has been very consistent for over 100 years - things done pursuant to official duties are just about untouchable.

However things NOT pursuant to official duties are definitely touchable. Like Nixon and Watergate. The break in was partisan, it had nothing to do with official duties.

Spying on and instigating fake charges against the opposition candidate falls into the latter category. They can't touch Obama for a lot of things but they might have a shot at this one.

If it were me I'd go after Brennan and Comey and Clapper first, the intel side of this is dirty and should be exposed and corrected. Going after Obama probably won't help but it would be fun watching tens of thousands of libtard heads exploding all the same time.

Well, we can can assume that indictments are imminent, so we'll be able to find out then.

Surely the Director of National Intelligence for the United States of America wouldn't come out with words this stark and damning about a former President of the United States without being able to quickly back them up with action and voluminous evidence. Surely that wouldn't happen.

Certainly using terms like "years-long coup" and "treasonous" to describe the actions of people at the very top of our government will mean that incontrovertable evidence will be arriving forthwith. No one at her level throws words like that around otherwise.
