We have a problem that will only be fixed by a catastrophe occurring

What am I talking about? Selfishness.

Selfishness is the saviour of humanity.

Anytime in history a group of people perpetuated a horrendous evil… they always claimed to be doing it for someone else’s benefit.

Learning to leave each other alone is the true path to peace.

Whatever you say.

By the way, thanks for proving my OP. You are such an open book. A true Trumper, a true extreme selfish person, and a true narcissist.

Warning, one more post like this where you attack the messenger and not address the OP, you are gone as a person that wastes my time.
Tough guy is gonna hide from more people who don't buy his bullshit.

Social media has made extreme selfishness possible. You now add to that, a conman like Trump, that tells you that he will make your wishes come true without any consequences occurring and you will flock to that person.

Oh, is that (learning to leave each other alone) what the right is doing?

Guess what? YOU LOST.

-are you seriously asking that question after the post I just put up answering your previous question?
because you're not being specific Lucky

you're simply predicating a civil war on anyone violating your space

What if OP is an advanced eggshell/AI bot?
The more I think about it, the more it's in the realm of possibilities.

Lets start with Project 2025. That is an extreme right ideology. You do not agree with that definition?
Let's start with a cactus, and you going and fucking yourself with it, how 'bout dah? :D

we can talk about Project 2025 in general but If you are going to cherry pick on a few issues, then "yes", you absolutely need to familiarize on all the issues.

Project 2025 is an extreme program where even the justice system gets stripped of the guidelines that have been there for 248 years. It is a program that gives unlimited power to the president, which is something totally foreign to the Constitution.

Let me guess, you did not read it for yourself I bet, huh?
Quote the relevant parts of this "project 2025" with a link and let's see if it actually says what you say it does, boy!
Certainly you can share this information you feel is of utmost importance, amirite? :abgg2q.jpg:

I am predicting a civil war because almost 50% of the people are seeing that happening. In addition, the hate that is being spewed by both sides is a good predictor that things will not be compromised on. In addition, the revenge that Trump is threatening automatically generates a like reaction, which means the same kind of retaliation.

Is that specific enough for you?

This meme in no way addresses the OP. You are just trying to demean and waste everyone time.

What a BS reply.

Yes… and claiming we’re on the brink of Civil War is so elucidating.

There is a problem worldwide that started occurring when social media began but the pandemic has taken it to a much higher degree. Here in the U.S., this problem has been taken to even a much higher degree by Trump, given that he is the ultimate example of the problem.

What am I talking about? Selfishness.

Here is where it began:

Up to here in this OP, this problem is worldwide. All nations that have social media online are experiencing this.

Nonetheless, we elected a narcissist president and narcissism by nature means selfish behavior to the max. He has been a magnet for other narcissists to become supporters of him.

Having said all of the above and with Trump now our leader and the above proven to be in effect, what then does all of this make it a big problem that can only be fixed by a catastrophe?

For any nation to survive, the "team concept" needs to be in place. A nation is a large group of people where everyone plays a part of its success and more importantly, needs to be a part of the success. When only a small portion of its citizens enjoy success and the large part does not, the nation crumbles and disunity occurs. Disunity brings disfunction and that brings chaos.

The only thing that can cause selfishness to go away is for a catastrophe to occur where people are FORCED to work together to survive. As long as one side can win and the other lose, selfishness will remain. When both sides are losing, selfishness needs to disappear or a loss to all is certain.

I have no idea of what kind of time frame is involved here (a few years, a few decades or even a few centuries) for this problem to reach its conclusion, but the reality is that there is NO SOLUTION available as only a catastrophe can solve it now.

The Selfishness virus has taken hold and there is no vaccine or medicine to cure it.
Quite a few years ago when I read on the psychology of Facebook, I deleted my account. Apart from the odd forum, I'm not on any social media platform. I do watch YouTube but I don't comment.

My advice to anyone with Facebook, Instagram etc.., delete them.

The world was in relative peace during Trump's first administration. Russia hadn't attacked Ukraine and the Jihadists hadn't attacked Israel. Covid might have been a threat but the fascist Biden/Fauci sanctions turned Covid into a political and economic disaster. The short answer is that a minority of angry disappointed lefties fooled themselves into thinking that the renewal of America's power and influence in the last election was actually a catastrophy when it was a victory.

Nearly Half of Americans Think U.S. Could See Another Civil War

That is not just me but close to 170 million think a civil war is coming. Why don't you send that meme to all of them?

  • 47% of Americans think there is a likelihood of another U.S. Civil War in their lifetime. A slim majority (52%) think the possibility is either not very likely or not likely at all.
  • Republicans (53%) are more likely than Democrats (40%) and independents (41%) to say there is a good chance that our nation will experience a civil war in the future.
