We have 198 people that are traitors to America and it's voting system.

You have to PROVE your citizenship to register to vote. There is absolutely no reason to prove your citizenship at the polling booth.

When you register to vote, you have to prove your are a US Citizen, and legally entitled to vote. Why should you have to prove it again when you cast your vote. Any form of government issued photo ID, which matches your name and address on your voter registration, is all that is required for voter ID.

There is absolutely NO EVIDENCE that people are illegal voting in more than a handful of cases, in each election. Extreme voter ID requirements, are a ridiculous waste of time and money. A solution in search of a problem, which only exists in red states.

A solution in search of a problem that always results in legal voters being disenfranchised. Republicans pushed this for decades know it affects voters of both parties and figuring it affects more Dems than Republicans… a win for them

There are no reasoned, honest or sane people who are voting for the GOP. There are only crooks, liars, and traitors to the Constitution left in that party, and they have openly laid out there plans for a White Nationalist Christian Theocracy.

The entire world hangs on the outcome of the US election, at this point. If Trump is returned to office, Putin will be allowed to start World War III in Europe, and the US economy will be torched by Trump's tariffs.
There are no reasoned, honest or sane people who are voting for the GOP.

none in the other party either.

I don't even understand how anyone regardless of political affiliation would be against requiring an ID to insure that each American is voting in American elections and not non American citizens.

If voting is supposed to be our holiest of American institutions then why don't they want to preserve and protect a sacred right bestowed on all Americans?

Isn't voting supposed to for citizens? Fair? Secure? And equal for all Americans? I don't understand how any politician could be against having an ID to vote.

How does requiring ID jam up anything? It makes things easier. You show your ID and you vote, that's it.

Xenophobic? It's elections in America, voted for by americans. By her logic every other person in the world should be able to vote in our elections because if some guy in Syria can't vote in our elections it's xenophobic.

"The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof"

It's up to the States to determine eligibility.

Here in Connecticut, I'm required to show a valid picture ID (license) when I vote. I'd think that the same is true in all States.

The whole "Voter ID" drive is to stop eligible voters.

Ahhh, another racist demofascist.

IDs are provided free to lower income citizens... you need ID to....
Open a Bank Account
Drive a car
Buy alcohol and tobacco
Apply for welfare
Rent a house
Apply for a morgage
Purchase a gun
Rent a hotel
Pick up prescriptions
Buy cold medicine

Tell me again why you shouldn't have ID to decide our nations future?
Why should I? Have you ever in your life read or heard of me complaining about having to show ID, to vote. Or are you reading impaired? If so, I do apologize, as I am not a mean spirited person.

It was undermined in 1913. If kept under control and people voting in common sense ways from it, we would not be in this dystopian sci fi reality we live in now. The problem is, when government is unchained, they find people to rule us to get elected and for power and money uses any government largesse to promote their agendas.
The nation is an evolving entity. You can’t expect things to remain locked in some pre-determined time frame, regardless of what SCOTUS may say. You also have a weird notion regarding what a dystopia is! :rolleyes-41:

It's more of addition to the post not directed at you my friend.

Invalidating currently valid IDs.

Forcing people to obtain multiple forms of authoritative IDs to get a new ID.

I have a validated Drivers license. Fortunately, I had a copy of my Birth Certificate and a Passport.

But if I did not, I would have had to travel to another state to get a Birth Certificate...even then I don't know what ID would be required to get that.

You don't have to travel to a different state to get your birth certificate. It can easily be done by mail. I've done it

You don't need a passport either. Valid picture ID. That's it. Since one can't function in society without a valid ID your reply is nonsense and exactly what I expected

How do they get a valid picture ID without a passport or birth certificate?

Apparently, wherever you're from they let anybody get anybody else's birth certificate if they send them by mail.

No wonder you don't have any confidence in IDs.

Dude you don't have the very first clue what you're babbling about. Why do you even bother annoying me?

Democrats can't win.
They have alienated too many citizens
