We Finally Know the Case Against Trump, and It Is Strong

For some people it is. However most married men do not need the services of prostitutes and porn stars. Those in politics usually do the smart thing by asking for forgiveness and working it out. Then going before it becomes a media

You need to understand what the FEC considers and election contribution. According to the FEC, A contribution is anything of value given, loaned or advanced to influence a federal election. It does not have to be given to the candidate's campaign fund. If you put a billboard up in your front yard that says Elect Trump, that is an election contribution. If you pay rent on a town hall for a rally, that is an election contribution. Cohen paying hushmoney to Trump whores, etc is an election contribution because Choen did it to influence the election.

Cohen was the sacrificial goat. He pled guilty to illegal election contributions, exceeding the individual limit, and falsifying bank documents used in the hushmoney payments, all as part of a scheme to protect Trump. I don't think anyone believes that the hushmoney that Cohen paid was done without Trump explicit instructions. However, expecting Trump to be charged in 2017 would have been nuts. with Trump appointments to the DOJ, FBI, FEC, etc and a republican congress rubberstamping them.

Sorry child, it couldn't have been an election contribution because it benefited Trump personally. That's exactly why Cohen wasn't repaid with campaign funds.

Well at first Trump's official answer to that question when asked was that he was trying to keep Melania from finding out about the affair.
But of course he changes his stories so much I don't know what his current line of bullshit on it may be.
Of course she know he cheats on her. He was cheating on his 2nd wife when he was dating her. And Trump cheated on his 1st wife when he was running around with what would be his 2nd. And his affair with McDougal was in all the gossip columns. Then there was Trump's tell all on the Howard Stern Show. The Access Hollywood Tapes was telling Melania something she had known for years.

Trump's story of paying hush money to protect Melania from knowledge of his wicked ways is so ludicrous, it's laughable.

Tough shit. That's why we have grand juries and judges and trial juries.
Yeah. Tough shit until something like it ever happens to you misfits.

And of course scumbags like you are thrilled at the prospect of a trial against Trump in deep blue shithole cities.

Go fuck yourself. You’re a hack plain and simple-minded.

That's because most NDA's are used to protect trade secretes when an employee leaves the business. Of course there are instances such as hush money payments which could be deducted by the business if would effect revenue.

When a candidate for federal office, regardless of whether he owns a business or not, pays hush money to keep information from the public, it will be considered to have influence the election, therefore it will be considered an election contribution or if is made from the candidates campaign funds it will be considered a campaign expenses.

And other NDAs that are also tax deductible.

Do you have the section of the law or FEC regulations that back up that claim?

So you don't know Cohen went to jail, along with other crimes, for making an illegal campaign contribution? You should learn about topics you choose to discuss.

If it was a campaign contribution, why didn't the FEC rule that Trump violated the law?

Simple: He didn't! Neither did Cohen.

Just to point out a couple of facts:

#1 FACT: Cohen was criminally charged and convicted by the DOJ of campaign finance law violations in the Stormy Daniels case.

#2 FACT: A complain was filed against AMI Media (David Pecker, Editor in Chief) in the Karen McDougal "catch-n-kill" scheme as a campaign violation. AMI Media was fined $187,000 as a civil fine for an illegal campaign donation for the action.

To claim that Cohen and Pecker didn't commit a crime is not logically supportable.

Not the first time someone has plead guilty to a crime they didn't commit to make prosecutors happy and get a lesser sentence and won't be the last. A decent judge would have rejected that count.

But this silly fantasy is irrelevant anyway. Cohen's felonies are a matter of record. Not of debate. Sorry.
