Trump most of allmany people are going to be in for a rude awakening....
The statue of limitation in New York for a felony is 5 years but for a non -resident all periods greater than 1 day out of state must be added to that 5 years. Donald Trump declared a change in residency in 2019 to Florida so as much 4 years will be added to that 5 years. Bragg only needs about 7 years possibility less.If he were only aware of what a statute of limitations mean.

Trump, Lifelong New Yorker, Declares Himself a Resident of Florida (Published 2019)
The president filed a “declaration of domicile” last month saying that his property in Palm Beach will be his permanent residence.www.nytimes.com
The business records entries were made in early 2017 and the limitations for that is 2 years. Trump was a NY resident for that two years.
.
If it is not a felony, you're correct. However, Bragg is charging him with a felony and in New York, that's 5 years plus any exceptions and there are exceptions that adds time. The business records entries were made in early 2017 and the limitations for that is 2 years. .
The alleged business record entries were made with the intent to aid in and to conceal another crime making them a felony with a base 5 year SOL which can be extended a minimum of another 5 years for any periods the defendant was outside the state.
2017 plus 5 is 2022. Now how much time did the defendant spend in DC and FL during 2018 to 2033?
Of course the answer is well over the required time to keep it within the SOL.

I guess you didn't read what the flop posted, that would only apply to non-NY residents. Besides, when are you ignorant fucks going to realize that Bragg has no authority when it comes to federal elections.
.
The so called felony has to do with a federal election which Bragg has zero authority on.

Paying off a bimbo......still not a crime.
OKTexas
No it doesn't, it has to do with Section 175.10 of the New York State Penal Code, Falsification of Business Records in the First Degree.
Trump isn't charged with any federal violation by the Manhattan DA, he's charged with business law violation of the State of New York.

Good thing nobody said it was. Post it 1000 more times, and that won't change. The alleged business record entries were made with the intent to aid in and to conceal another crime

I don't feed the sealions, sorry. Good luck. What crime was he concealing?

Nah, the sealions don't own the thread. They just try to derail it and waste time. The topic will move on...Run away.
Correct. Agreee 100%.
However when the method payment is made in an illegal manner, that method becomes crime in it's own right. Trump is being charged with "paying off a bimbo", Trump is being charged with falsification of records in the money laundering scheme to "pay the bimbo".
Two very different things.

Now idiot, can you read? Bragg is trying to shoehorn a felony charge because it supposedly hid information from the voting public in a FEDERAL ELECTION. Once again, Bragg has no authority to charge anything in relation to a FEDERAL ELECTION.
1 SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK COUNTY OF NEW YORK THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK STATEMENT OF FACTS IND-71543-23 -against- DONALD J. TRUMP, Defendant. INTRODUCTION
1. The defendant DONALD J. TRUMP repeatedly and fraudulently falsified New York business records to conceal criminal conduct that hid damaging information from the voting public during the 2016 presidential election.
.
Trump's charges related to attempting to aid and or conceal a crime, the most likely being Cohen's crime for which he was convicted in 2018.
