this is always the problem that seems to come from nowhere when a person (such as Wayne Root) writes an article about Obama; a man "supposedly" in his 1983 graduating class at Columbia that no remembers EVER seeing.
Suddenly, it is all about Obama being a Kenyan, not born in the US.
Deflection. Deflection. Deflection. Ignore the topic and make it a "birther" argument. Make it about ANYTHING except the actual topic.
Wayne Allen Root's claims that he never met Obama at Columbia have been a standard part of the birther house of cards for the last 5 years.
You shouldn't be surprised that the topic goes there.
(They're completely nonsensical claims, as well - many classmates of Obama's at Columbia have publicly spoken about knowing Obama during that time, so claiming that "no one remembers him" is complete bullshit)
