A new poll found that most Americans say they believe President Trump is mentally and physically unfit to serve as commander in chief.

The Washington Post/ABC News/Ipsos poll found that 59 percent of U.S. respondents indicated Trump does not have the mental sharpness it takes to lead the country. Forty percent of respondents said the president is mentally equipped for leadership, and 1 percent of participants skipped the question.

Comparatively, 55 percent of surveyed U.S. adults said Trump is not in good enough physical health to serve as president, while 44 percent disagreed and 1 percent of survey participants skipped the question.

More than half of respondents, 54 percent, said they do not believe the president is a strong leader.

Sixty-seven percent of survey participants also said they don’t think Trump carefully considers important decisions.

Why do these Americans think they deserve somebody better ?
Those fools voted him to power and in fairness he does seem the type of person who reflects how we see Americans in general —- not so bright , brash and brimming with their own presumed self importance .
I watched Hegseth earlier a few minutes .
Now there is a disaster and unpleasant individual .
At least Trumpfy has humour even if it is mostly unintended .

Yes, and it's not new news

Yes, and it's not new news

The GOP would hide the fact that Trump has lost it and they would just control him. Like they did Reagan. They don't care that Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon are actually running things and that Pete and Kash are hiding things from Trump.

hilarious...

Republicans try to spin this into a positive thing

Based on an analysis of his social media activity, Donald Trump has not gotten a consistent full night's sleep in a long time, with reports indicating only five nights in April 2026 where he did not post on Truth Social during overnight hours. He typically sleeps only 4-5 hours a night, often posting between 12:30 a.m. and 2:45

  • Active Overnights: As of early May 2026, analyses show Trump posts frequently through the night, suggesting minimal uninterrupted sleep.
  • Routine: Historically, he has maintained a schedule of sleeping from roughly 1 a.m. to 5 a.m..
  • Long-term Habit: This is a long-standing, well-documented habit dating back to his first term (2017-2021).
  • "Short Sleeper": He has often stated he thrives on very little sleep.
Clearly you do not Mr. President. Time to take a nap.
He isn't even sleeping from 1-5am
In April 2026, President Donald Trump, 79, engaged in early-morning "Truth Social" rants, including a 4 a.m. ET post threatening Iran and sharing an AI-generated image of himself with a rifle. This followed collapsed war negotiations, with posts often detailing military moves against Iran and criticizing critics.

We screwed ourselves when we voted for Trump instead of Hillary. Or Bush instead of Gore.

During his first term (2017–2021), Donald Trump appointed three justices to the United States Supreme Court: Neil Gorsuch (2017), Brett Kavanaugh (2018), and Amy Coney Barrett (2020). These appointments significantly shifted the court's ideological balance

Everything we have will be taken away. Social security, medicare, abortion, unions, environmental protections, diversity progress, healthcare reforms.

Everything we complain about, we sort of did it to ourselves.

President George W. Bush appointed two justices to the United States Supreme Court during his presidency: John G. Roberts Jr. (appointed Chief Justice in 2005) and Samuel A. Alito Jr.
