That is 100% correct. We caught just enough drugs down there to justify the expense of the extra fuel it took to seize the drugs. Millions of dollars in fuel burnt that we could have bought the drugs off the street for about the same amount of money.

I didn't care. I got a nice Meritorious Unit Commendation medal for my dress uniform.

The try to run the drugs at night. They are really surprised when we show up 50 yards off their stern and hit them with our search lights in the middle of the night.
