Well some of those Nato weapons like the British Storm Shadow and US Himars have taken their toll on Russian civilians that needs a reply that would send a message, there are Politicians in Russia not as reasonable as Putin who would have sent that reply before now.

From what i saw no nuclear threats were made, Medvedev said Russia doesn't give in to ultimatums and Russia isn't Israel or even Iran, just think what the reaction would be in the US if Putin said he had despatched two Nuclear subs towards the US, they would go totally Ape shit.
