All this will do is escalate this clusterf8ck.

Iran has already stated, whatever we do to them, they will return in kind.

In a war, it is the right of a belligerent to try to control trade, the US has had this strategy for well over a century, and they learned it from the British who used that for literally centuries.

If we hit their power-plants, Iran will hit the power plants of Israel and the GCC. . . which will cause a loss of power to desalination plants and potentially mass death.

I would hardly characterize Afghani refugees in Iran cheering the destruction of the Iranian establishment as. . . . "Iranians." This is the same damn tactic our government uses when it refers to "Maryland Man."

As long as they don't knock out the power plants and desalinization facilities. If they do that, it will take even longer to recover, likely there never will be a full recovery to pre-war status.

Absolutely. It is so awful to even contemplate that we have now had patriotic Americans, who would do anything for this great nation, die in a conflict the vast majority of Americans don't want, in an action that congress refuses to make a stand on.
