The federal government should be required by law to send each taxpayer a report documenting how his tax money is spent.

When surveyed, Americans say they think a quarter of the budget is going to foreign aid. When surveyed how much they think it should be, they say ten percent.

The reality? Less than one percent of the budget goes to foreign aid.

A overly simplistic look at how much of our tax money goes overseas...some things you fail to take into account are monies sent overseas not listed under foreign aid............aka the billion we give the U.N. and the billions we provide for for foreign militaries. We fund 25 percent of the totality of the U.N. Budget...........the great amount of which is syphoned off by corrupt dictators and governments.
