Delta withholds Congress' TSA perk until government shutdown ends

Congress members have been able to bypass the TSA line, avoiding travelers waiting to have their bags inspected at the gate. Sen. John Cornyn noted not all members of Congress are experiencing the TSA chaos, meaning it's not as urgent an issue for them.

I don't think there should be any congressional perks. Laws that are good for the general populace should apply to EVERY public official, bar none.

If any government workers are working without pay, i.e. a "shutdown", congressmen and senators should not get paid either.

I believe a few people in congress tried that, and it got shutdown super-fast. Ed Markey argued against it and then ran out of the chamber. They don't care about anyone as long as they get their perks and money, so good on Delta for hitting them where it hurts.
