The effect of not counting slaves for purposes of political and electoral power would of meant less power to slave owners. That's an easy conclusion to come to to anyone not pretending to be crippled by mental retardation for the purposes of their own argument.

Packing the court will do many things but eliminating the electoral college is not one of those things. For example, they had to amend the constitution to eliminate prohibition.
