When 47 started talking about how he was going implement tariffs, many.....very many hard core conservatives on this forum refused to accept the fact that tariffs would higher prices being passed on to consumers. That is how tariffs work. These people did not want to believe it would happen. Suppliers and Distributers will pass along increased prices they pay in the way higher prices. This Econ-101.
