Leftists/Democrats have despised the US military ever since the Vietnam war, and have worked hard to diminish it, along with other hated entities, like the Christian religion and the US intelligence services. Fortunately, there were enough Republicans, along with a few Blue Dog Democrats, to stand in the way. So, instead of destroying the military from the outside, they’ve worked overtime to infiltrate the military and change it from the inside, much as they’ve done with so many other systems: Hollywood, education, the news media, etc.

We now have gays in the military, which will cause many to say “nope, no thanks” in joining and retention. They OK’d women for combat roles, but, they didn’t get the reduction of standards which was their intent. At least yet. They just approved the gender confused. And they’ve been pushing Hotcoldwetdry from the top. It’s all meant to utterly change the US military into a left wing dominated entity. (Daily Caller) Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse recently told people gathered in New York City that global warming “denial” hurts U.S. soldiers in the field and that the “main problem” with the military is its reluctance to join the climate crusade.

“The problem has been that the uniformed military has been reluctant to put its voice into – or its image into this fight,” Whitehouse said, according to a YouTube video posted Thursday.

And, for those bases, for Navy bases particularly, it’s a really real risk. They’re on the sea. Sea level rise is going to swamp what they do. It’s really practical. So, when people hear it from as trusted a source as a uniformed military officer it will make a big difference, and they have not been very forward about it from the uniform side of the military. DOD has been good. Mabus has been the best.”

1st Rambo.........no worries my friend!! "Climate Change" is a billboard only.......we'll have to deal with the special interests that will need to be stroked with $$ and will need to tip the cap when the throw the environmental nutters a bone once in a blue moon, but in the bigger picture, the whole "global warming is the greatest.........." is irrelevant politically and that's the most important thing!! Every poll shows concern for global warming at its lowest in 25 years, and how funny is that. :eusa_dance:

Since 2007, it falls lower, and lower and lower in every major poll. More importantly, it basically just a hobby for internet junkies in 2016..........renewable energy is still laughable and will be for decades according to any non-green projection ( including the Obama EIA ). Its all good........I spend my time in here laughing my balls off making fun of these weenies who live in fantasyland...........its a hoot. :funnyface:

Yo, yo, be nice if you three had a hundred points of IQ between the three of you. Gays in the military? Von Stueben? Not that any of you would know the name.

When there are major international disruptions resulting in war, it is nice to know the causes. Sea level rise, climate change are going to create such disruptions. That some are unwilling to see this is simply a demonstration of the disconnect with reality that we see with our 'Conservatives'. That is why the results of the 2016 Presidential election are going to be such a shock to them.

Go look at any analysis of the last mind-term elections. 85 million dollars were sunk into environmental Dem campaigns and they got their collective clocks cleaned. Wiped out.

Progressives will say ANYTHING in here and hope to get away with it if they are not called on it.......but that's what I do in here.....bring the discussion back to Realville every time.

ALL the polling on "voter concerns" for 2016 point to climate change/global warming being 2nd to last or dead last out of about 20 concerns.
