It’s a rare September Election Day, which follows the death of the longtime Democratic lawmaker, who died in May after a battle with cancer.

Voters in the district will choose between Connolly’s former chief of staff, Democrat James Walkinshaw, and Republican Stewart Whitson, a former FBI special agent and Army veteran.

Not holding out much hope the seat will be flipped given it's a NOtVA race.....But hope springs eternal.

I hope you're right that your vote will count. Here in New Mexico we never know. Which is why the Patriots here are all pulling for Congress and the President to make all the necessary election reforms to restore confidence in our elections.

But wouldn't it be great if the people of Virginia did something good for the USA and didn't elect another Democrat who will fight against anything good being done for America and Americans?

BS, as I said you only need to go west past Rt. 15 in NOtVA to be in real Virginia. West of I-95 generally. Most of the rest of the blue are college towns/counties.

Rural counties where few people live are still Conservative, but they do not matter politically because no one lives there relative to the rest of the State.
