Virginia Going Full Mao - Force Schools to Teach J6 Was an Insurrection with no Reference to 'Peaceful Protest'

Lol .. you good at bullshitting that you could give Occasional Cortex a run for her money. ***** said she was threatened. After investigation, she was nowhere near the protesters.
Right wing media are the bullshitters and you low information voters fall for it all the time.

They didn't seize it, they rioted in it for a few hours, and then left.
They sure did seize it. They violently assaulted the police defending the building until they were able to break in and occupy it by the hundreds to thousands. Government functions shut down and Congress was evacuated.

They left when thousands of armed soldiers forced them to leave.

The counting of the electoral college was suppressed, which is how we determine who is running the government.

They took over the Capitol and ejected the government.

The military had to come in and put an end to it.
No, the fake electors scheme that was central to the Trump insurrection plot did not work, even though most of the GOP leadership was read in on that aspect of the plot.
The first statement is my opinion, and I present it as that, thus calling it false is your opinion.

The fact is we are a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy.

The only Conspiracy theory is your presentation of your supposed 'facts"
Your first statement is a self serving fallacy.

You can fervently believe something that isn’t true, as you are doing. But you can’t claim that something false is true just becaus it’s your opinion.

You are announcing that your opinion is a lie, which it is.

It is not relevant to Trump’s plot whether we are a republic or not.

Indeed, Trump’s open musing about trying to have the Federal government take over election only defeats that meaningless assertion.

Not one state is ruled by a king, a baron, a prince, or a dictator.

Every representative office in the United States is an elected office.

So asserting that we are not a democracy is meaningless (as so many Trumpster tropes are), as everyone in the IS is chosen through a democratic election.

One vote was delayed for a few hours. No government functions were shut down.

Those soldiers as you were told in another post didn't show up until far later.

Because it was above board. Trump lost.
He won in 2024 for a lot of the same reasons he won in 2016. An unpopular opposition candidate, a large swath of the voting population staying home, and a (sort of) last minute incident that moved the needle. In 2016, it was a phantom email investigation. In 2024, Biden stayed in too long and then dropped out, not giving the Dems enough time to realize Harris wasn't going to cut the mustard.

That's OK. Trump is in the middle of a hell of his own making. And his day is coming. :)
Meantime, he can suffer. He deserves every bit of it.
Don’t forget the Republicans who wore tampons on their faces!

An opinion cannot be a lie.

That makes us a Republic, you idiot.

Did they injure over a hundred cops?

Send any to the hospital?

Did they carry weapons

Smash through windows and doors?

Then no

Is an insurrection defined as any of those as a requirement?

That wasn’t the objective of the plot.

You just described its failure.

The plot involved manufacturing fake electors who submitted bogus documents to thei representatives (fake documents prepared by the conspirators in the Trump cabal.)

These were supposed to be used to promote “objections” to the certified results. The GOP leadership was supposed to pretend that there was a real controversy, and delay the certification. The objective was to force the choice into State legislatures, which are majority Republican. They were to disregard the actual ballots and choose their candidate along party lines, guaranteeing a Trump win, no matter what the actual vote was.

The fallback was to use the “confusion” in the interim in order for Trump to declare an emergency and assume dictatorial powers.

Because the plot failed, Congress certified the election thst night.

Trump’s plotters we’re subsequently disbarred, indicted, and, in most cases convicted. In cases like Sidney Powell, she came clean.

But the right wing noise machine swung into overdrive promoting the conspiracy and continued making evidence free vote fraud claims. It was so obvious and embarrassing thst taxpayers in Arizona were forced to pay for a totally fake third pary\ty recount conducted by a fake Trump backed organization called Cyber Ninjas.

She never encountered a protester or near one. Nancy Mace was two doors down and called out Occasionally Cortez’s bullshit.

An opinion can be a lie. It becomes a lie when the opinion is offered without a shred of factual backing. Once you keep doing that, itis a lie.

Of course, you’re welcome to back up your opinion.

You won’t because you have no evidence to support your belief.

Here’s an insurrectionist that Democrats gave a pass. Brown bullshitted his reason by saying something like I thought it was a lever for emergency exit.

Not one firearm was seized on the Capital Grounds on 1/6 ( violent 🤣😆😂😝)
It was indeed quite violent, and obviously so. You have to be exceedingly delusional to not see that.

There was no plot. There was a reaction to an election some thought fraudulent that didn't end up going anywhere.

Also, learn to spell.

A lie is when you say something you know is not true, and for something to be true it has to be a fact.

Lies like women having penises.

The only violent event that day was the cold blooded murder of Babbitt.

The vote was shut down. That's a government function.
