It's not a Constitutional right, but is is part of the checks and balances that we as citizens have over our government. The Freedom of Information Act was designed to make it harder to hide corrupt activities by our officials. So are the regulations that require public officials to conduct their official business so that Congress can oversee what they are doing. The entire reason that Hillary Clinton spent that hundred thousand dollars to set up her own private system of servers hidden away in her home was so that if someone WERE to invoke the FIA and ask to see her communications they would only receive her "official" papers and emails and would get none of the communications through which she was running the State Department. It also hid what she was doing from Congressional oversight.

The only "moron" here is anyone who sees this for anything but what it is...a deliberate attempt by Clinton to circumvent the rules...the destruction of evidence when she was found out...and month after month spent lying about it when it became public knowledge.

One of the things that makes American great, Swim is that we citizens DO have the right to ask our governmental officials to explain their actions. We don't serve them...they serve us.
