Looks impressive….If only it were true

Our Veterans have risked their lives at the request of our country

But the truth is, our country was under no threat and was free without them. We have not been invaded in 200 years. No country on earth is capable of invading us and taking away our freedom

Let’s be honest
Vietnam did not protect our freedom
Afghanistan did not protect our freedom
Iraq did not protect our freedom

But 75,000 soldiers died

And why do you think that is?
Why?

Because our country is surrounded by peaceful neighbors Canada and Mexico

No country on earth has the military capability to launch an invasion over 3000 miles of ocean and maintain an invasion force.

Could we have maintained our freedom without engaging in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq?

No question we could

Exactly correct, because of the capability of our own military.

As for your other comment, we're not surrounded by friendly countries. Only half of our country's borders are protected that way. Our east and west coasts, if not for our military and its capabilities, could easily be in jeopardy...

God bless you and James and our other service men and women who are still here always!!!

Holly

P.S. James served in the Navy near the end of the Desert Storm time frame. He was stationed in Guam.

Neither Canada nor Mexico has ever had the inclination nor military capability to invade the US

No country since England in 1812 has had the military capability to launch an invasion force on US territory.

The extreme distances and logistics make it impossible. Nobody has the Navy

Viet Nam was under SEATO and ostensibly the threat of Communism. The Korean Conflict was a reason. As soon as the Soviet Union collapsed, Bush senior went to war. Our presence in the middle east started to become heavy and stayed that way for 3 decades.

Marine Corps motto "Semper Fidelis" is Latin for "Always Faithful". Only Marines are allowed by social mandate to use the phrase Semper Fi. so Semper Fi from a former Marine

Yeah, they do...
Not even close

No nation on earth, other than the US has the Navy to sustain an invasion of over 3000 miles

The US has never been threatened by a foreign military invasion. even in WWII
