Very stupid Demo Ad buys

I am way out here in the wilds of Oregon (Or the Tames, as I close in in Portland) Anyway, I am visiting you Tube, and every single video for the last hour has had "Vote For Cokely" as the ad next to it. I am pulling its chain to see if they are doing any targeting at all. They are not. Philapine dancers... vote for Cokely. Russian singers, vote for cokely... Japanese cartoons, vote for cokley. They are spending money out the wazoo for folks who have no connection to MA at all. I wonder how much this is costing them.
