I agree that identity politics has probably gone way to far. It's time to get back to qualifications, and that includes a character analysis, and a determination of decency found by checking reference's and credibility within the interview requirements.

This color thing based upon appeasement, otherwise if that's what's going on has simply got to end. Time to honor Martin Luther King's words about character, otherwise he never expected for black people to just get a free ride based upon their color, but he figured instead that it was to be based upon their hardworking good character and their merit's just like it is for any other American in this country.

P.S. Just heard that so far this year 9 people have been murdered in the Rotten Apple's subway system. That is outrageous. The hoodlums are completely out of control.

The problem is now that they realize they can get away with about anything how do we get them back under control? Our police have turned reactive not proactive because our cities refuse to back them up. Plus it is increasingly hard to get new recruits for the police force.
