Until relatively recently, the Sahara was a vast lush green land with rivers flowing through it. In this compelling video chock filled with scientific evidence, Jimmy makes the case that the anomalous structure known as the "eye of the Sahara was actually the City of Atlantis

With out doubt there was a wonderful civilisation beneath the current Sahara at one time .
But do not get hung up on this being Atlantis .

There are several recently discovered advanced civilisations in various parts of the globe and all from around the same time .

Folk lore has it that sky men came down in several locations . Same story across the globe

It seems most likely that the universal Flood story accounts for their disappearance with Plato at that time only aware of doorstep evidence .

Plato stated that Atlantis was beyond the Pillars of Hercules today they are known as the Strait of Gibraltar. Whatever is in the Sahara it's not Atlantis. The one picture looks like a collapsed caldera.

It's the Richat Structure. Entirely geological, and there are no significant ruins in them of any kind. And it is around 100 million years old and was formed in the Cretaceous.
