True. And the murderer came LOOKING to cause some massive damage. Why else come with a lethal weapon hidden in your back pocket, and then goad on a white kid?

Also, it must take a good deal of strength to stab a knife through bone and cartilage to get deep enough into the heart to cause fatal injury. The black kid was savage, and it’s good he’ll be kept in prison until his T-count drops off. In his 50s would be good.

This whole "you don't put your hands on a black person" thing is not new. It has been going on for some time and I suspect this is why Karmelo reacted so violently to being pushed. It might explain why he dared Austin to put his hands on him before Austin even made a move to do so.

It also may explain why the Karmelo supporters were hurling racial hate and invective at Austin's family who had nothing to do with any of it. But I'll bet you don't condemn that behavior, do you?

We've discussed at length since you brought it up and the White kid received TEN years, not five for what amounted to manslaughter which is a pretty average sentence. But you fail to mention that the Latino kid went into the bathroom with a group of his friends to videotape him attacking the white kid AFTER a female friend of both tried to talk him out of the attack. That has a lot of bearing on the sentence. He had a history of videoing attacks on classmates at the school. The Latino kid was no saint.

Those other cases had overwealming evidence against thug adults, and yet they were either acquitted or got minimal sentences, because they belonged to favored races (White or Asian).

Shoot three people during a demonstration against police brutality? Acquitted.
Shoot a black kid you spent an hour stalking? Acquitted.
Shoot a black kid in the back over a bottle of water? Acquitted.
Stab a Hispanic kid in the bathroom after threatening his life for days? Minimal Sentence!

Stab a white thug who is going to beat you. 35 Years.
