I've always wondered what business Arbery thought he had roaming around private property. At the same time, that father and son acted stupidly. They should have called the cops and left it to them. Now they're in prison because of their own stupid choices.

I agree and both should remain there for life. But when certain people making excuses for Anthony (Metcalf would still be alive had he didn't touch Anthony) why not apply the same logical conclusion to Arbery's killers?

Yes he was trespassing.

He was not charged, but that doesn't mean he wasn't trespassing. He did not go to that school and thus had no business inside that tent. When he was told to leave, he threatened and then stabbed someone. He should have just left. Now his life is ruined.

Murder every time.

Again, I don't expect people as dumb as you to understand the law. But it clearly states, to claim self defense, you can't be somewhere you aren't supposed to be, and you can't start the fight. He literally did both.

He's F'ed up in the head. This whack job wanted to kill someone and get off scott free with a self defense plea. That was all premeditated.

I seriously think that his family had radicalized him with their ghetto-get-paid beliefs and that it had been discussed beforehand to create an incident. Impossible to prove, but he may well want to elaborate on this after a few months in jails as his appeals wear out. That's what happened to Malvo the beltway sniper, who was also groomed to do what he did.

But remember…..the third friend who did nothing other than FILM the shooting was ALSO sentenced to life in prison. The racists who are outraged that Karmelo is going to prison for 35 years for plunging a knife into a white boy’s heart have no problem that a white man is in prison for life for filming a shooting.

I hope you’re right Lisa, but this young man stabbed another young man to death and could be let out in 17 years? That’s all a life is worth?
