Verdict reached in Karmelo murder trial

Who's property was it in this case?
Not in this case but I am sure you will toss out this silly argument if a black person refuses to leave when caught trespassing and then claim “I feel threatened”

So let’s say I’m standing on the corner in a poor, urban city and a group of black youths are walking down the street towards me - and looking at me. I am in fear of my life. Can I take out my gun and blow them all to smithereens?
Was this case based on a look?

That's a yes or no question. If a black boy shoved a white kid with the same evidence. Would you say the same?
Why yes of course.

I'm not answering the same question 15 more times, this goes for you and all the other supremacists in this thread.

This was really fast. Right now, everyone is gathered in front of the courthouse. As soon as the verdict is announced, I’ll post it with a link.

Stay tuned….

It’s in: GUILTY OF MURDER.
Why are you so invested in this case?

Most people could care less

Oh wait

He’s black. I get it now

Swear on your life that that's Karmelo Anthony who just got convicted of murdering Austin M.
What the heck are babbling about? You're a racist nothing else, should we lock up every murderer, until trial. Not letting neither persons raceknown, and then have the trial? That's fair, nobody in the jury will know anything about race. Just facts, you good with that?

Trying to claim self-defense is beyond laughable!

When I was in high school, I played many sports and there were many occasions when rival schools were present, that trash talk, pushing and shoving, a much more occurred. Not once however did anyone believe someone would pull out a knife and stab someone in the chest. This thug is a murderer, and he deserved the verdict he received.
I agree. Under any standard jury instruction about “justification” (self defense) the jury is told a few things, and including:

The defendant had to have reasonably perceived an immediate threat to his life or safety to justify his use of force. There was no such threat from the victim.

The defendant cannot have been the initial aggressor. Here, he was.

The use of deadly physical force has to be in response to a threat of the same. The victim had no knife at all. No weapons of any kind.

I’m not sure that Texas also requires that the defendant must retreat if he is safely able to do so before resorting to the force he used (in NY, there is such a “duty to retreat” except when the victim is snide his own home).
