Having said that, you cannot then stab someone in the heart over it. The jury found the claim of self defense without merit.

So would I and I am a 2nd Amendment fanatic. You cannot create the conditions of the event and then claim self defense. That has been settled in Texas for decades.

He gave them the authority by not leaving when asked to do so. The tent is not important. If there were no tent he still had no right to inject himself into the opposing team's gathering. It was completely legitimate for them to ask him to leave.
