Van Jones' take on the Britney Griner release

Remember the release of Trevor Reed.
You clowns bitched about that too.

Decommissioned.
Having her released is not the issue. Her view of the nation she hails from and her arrogance in other nations is another thing. The military is having trouble meeting quotas with many men not even qualified anymore to join. Many of the more patriot American men from fly over country are not joining like they used to because of Progs.

Trump never would have made this deal. Never.
Not this ^^^^ deal, but trump did negotiate the release of 5,000 Taliban.

  1. Up to five thousand (5,000) prisoners of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan which is not recognized by the United States as a state and is known as the Taliban and up to one thousand (1,000) prisoners of the other side will be released by March 10, 2020, the first day of intra-Afghan negotiations, which corresponds to Rajab 15, 1441 on the Hijri Lunar calendar and Hoot 20, 1398 on the Hijri Solar calendar.

She'll be back to pissing all over the flag and American heritage itself in a month. If that long.

Not that I'm a big fan of flag worship or anything, but that's just the way the ball rolls with those types.

Biden rolled over for his boss Vlad Putin on this one.

A terrorist who sold weapons to other terrorists with the intent of killing Americans is a free man today because Joe Biden works for Putin.

I would really love to see, that other than playing politics, how on earth can a president justify this exchange?

She is all that yet somehow she never considered that doing something that wouldn't even raise an eyebrow here might have very different consquences in a country run by an authoritarian dictator. When you go into any country run by these type of dictators you better be fully aware that they will arrest you and lock you up for the most trivial of reasons if they feel it will serve a goal of theres

This guy is so programmed to being a victim. He also knows today of the untold power of being one, as this case clearly shows.
Just look at who we were willing to trade, and who we were willing to leave behind.

Jones said Griner represents "everything in this country — she's female, she's LGBTQ, she's Black, and she is extraordinary. She's excellent. She's overcome. She's an icon. She's done everything you can do in her sport and more — and yet she still wasn't safe."

CNN's Van Jones on Griner's release: This is a result of "a grassroots movement"

She is an American hating piece of druggie Queer shit. Just the kind of scumbag Jones would defend.

who bitched about that? Provide some links.

He was wrongly convicted, he wasn't caught trafficking drugs....nor did we have to release the Merchant of Death for him

Or be like trump and let them ALL rot in Russian Prisons.
um Reed, and this lady weren't arrested on Trump's watch.

Well, I will say, Danny, we’re 20 and 0. We’ve gotten a lot of them out.” O’Brien said that the President’s leadership and popularity were responsible for an unprecedented number of Americans being released from captivity abroad. “This wouldn’t happen with all of these hostages and detainees without the support of the President,” he said. “The President has had unparalleled success in bringing Americans home without paying concessions, without prisoner exchanges, but through force of will and the good will that he’s generated around the world.”

Trump has elevated the release of hostages to a level of Presidential involvement not seen since Ronald Reagan occupied the Oval Office. Former diplomats and experts in hostage policy have praised him for this; nothing signals more clearly to American diplomats, foreign heads of state, or actors abroad the priority of an issue than personal attention from the President.

If you're gonna exercise your drug habit in a foreign land, a person with any semblance of smarts would look up the drug laws. Only takes a smartphone and Google and 5 minutes to find out!!

WHat does the Afghan Govt doing a prisoner swap with the Taliban have to do with this?

Countries that have draconian drug laws are against freedom.
A non sequitur.

We do not have a say in what laws other countries enact and enforce.

No one flying to Russia would be under any kind of impression that it was a free-loving country.

Whether or not you think the charges were over zealous or how small an infraction YOU think it is, they do not.

You and I don't get a say in it. Just exercise some personal responsibility and stay inside the law of the nation you are in.
