Any rules, laws, bans or any form of gun control is not a solution and know one realizes that. They want quick and easy responses, they don't want actual solutions.
Wanting more gun laws is like a city saying "there is so much crime in this city that were putting up security cameras". How does that fix crime? Sure some more criminals will be caught but that isn't a solution that actually fixes the problem, it's just the city accepting the crime is all it is. Gun laws are the same thing.
30 years ago we didn't have shooters like this. Yet we still had tons of guns in America and we had FEWER gun laws back then, so how does more gun laws solve anything?
If anyone worth their salt actually wants to truly stop shootings then they would realize society is the problem. Our society has changed in the past 30 years. All we need to do is find out what's different and get rid of that, then we can go back to not worrying about shootings.
If you have a hole in the wall you don't just dip a wad of toilet paper in the paint and stick it in the hole. You get your drywall mud, scrape it off, sand, rescrape if needed, sand it off, wipe the area with a damp rag and repaint. That's how you a problem for good, gun laws are just quick and easy steps that don't actually fix anything.
If you got rid of every gun in America right now you'd still have all the criminals and nutballs that want to hurt people. But what if you instead got rid of the crazies and nutballs?
