Which part in the Koran where it states the land of Israel belongs to the Jews or are you cherry picking . Hmmmm.. You realize this topic about the Liberty has been gone over many times esp on this forum if you are going to blame the Jews for everything evil and bad we know which camp to place you in . Quite frankly although I find the incident horrible there were mistakes on both sides and in the fog of war as they say shit happens that is why friendly fire may kill as many as 25 per cent of one’s own soldiers unfortunately . My uncle was once on a ship where they thought a torpedo was coming to sink it but thank g-d it was a dolphin just playing off it’s side.They sure were frightened and were ready to say goodbye until they realized it was just a dolphin .Try to keep in mind it was an active war zone . The United States and Israel were not allies at the time and the Israelis had warned off all ships at the time and had said they would be treated as hostile if they were in an area that was deemed active . There is much more one could say but then someone might scream hasbara and the usual crap will insue.

There was an Egyptian Ship that was almost exactly the same tonnage & profile of the USS Liberty that had egressed and the Liberty took up Station in roughly the same spot over a 72 hour period prior to the mistaken identity attack .

It was a common freighter ship model used in the Med. It looked similar to one being tracked and was known to have gone to Egypt a few days earlier. False flags were common on ships used by terrorists to launch attacks, so with the U.S. trying to be sneaky and failing to alert their allies when entering a war zone created the likelihood of an incident. The stupid claims otherwise of course can never come up with a sane reason why Israel would deliberately attack a U.S. ship, and are just a product of halfwit paranoia and anti-semitism.

After 2,000 years and multiple pogroms and much slaughter of their relatives the State of Israel is finally a persistent Reality.

I didn't quote the Koran dude. The Old Testament of the bible is where "The Lord" declares the Jews to be his "Chosen People", not the Koran. I think the Jews call that their Torah.
