USAID: biggest scandal in US government history?

So your eagerness to see mass layoffs is based on anecdotal claims? partisan claims?

I assume you know it is illegal to shutdown USAid without congress? do you care about that? do you care about laws at all?

Why are you supporting illegal actions by a president?
They will work it all out Sherlock, and they won't ask you or me for any input. It might easily be argued that those who worked for it had a dick job, if you know what I mean. No sympathy from me if they get fired.

No, that's not a valid answer. You should have said you strongly oppose illegal partisan decisions like shutting down the organization without congress, because that's what a respecter of the constitution would say. They would not glibly say "they'll work it all out".

The US taxpayer finances all sorts of activities, do you think we should examine every one of them to see if they meet some financial criteria? if so, what do you think the criteria should be? what should be the basis of decisions to fire federal workers?

This is who's making these decisions, a racist South African who has now even gotten his puppet Trump to threaten South Africa. This is new face of government, a few winners will emerge but the rest of us are going to lose in some way or other.

You approve of breaking the law, in my view that's invalid, but then again I'm not a trumpanzee.
I approve of breaking ANY law that is unconstitutional.

Large percentages of the US Congress routinely pass illegitimate laws that violate the letter and spirit of the US Constitution. From the Patriot Act to all the shot mandates to the anti-semitism laws are just a few examples.

What do you want me to do, cry you a river?

No answers from any trumpanzee yet?

Here, let me ask again.

So you can break any law you like so long as you can find a way to claim its unconstitutional.

So forget congress then? bypass them if they are deemed to be acting unconstitutionally and let a dictator make the decisions? a dictator who cannot ever be prosecuted for any decisions made during the execution of his duties?

I want you to admit that Trump is a dire threat to the United States.

How about ACCOUNTABILITY?????????????????
Geezus.

Good riddance. USAID was a wallet to finance political activists, parties, journalists, analysts, polls, etc to promote an agenda that was directed by the DC. It was a tool to sway and direct public opinion in the name of 'democratic opposition' who served interests of the American elite at the expense of their home counties. Prime examples are Ukraine and Georgia.

In my book, a dire threat to the United States is having 95% of our elected representatives are on a collar and leash controlled by Tel Aviv. A dire threat to the US is having 27 states with pro-Israel laws that violate the First Amendment.

Trump is just a demagog, and unfortunately he marches to the Israelite drum beat. I never voted for him you simple man.

We agree on something then. I've studied that subject extensively and I can tell you that Trump is just as bound by that leash as is every member of congress (with a few exceptions).

Federal workers should be fired or hired based on two things 1) do we need someone to do the job? if the answer is yes, then 2) is this person qualified, based on their merit, to do the job?

It's really not that hard a concept.

You only dislike Musk cause he is an African-American, your racist, and xenophobic views are pouring through

As far as South Africa....we shouldn't be giving them any money to begin with.

All USAID did was prop up socialists and dictators all over the world with US tax dollars... they also fund democrat candidates with dark money in return...
So you want to know where Kamala got her 2.1 billion from?....
From us.....

Why do you trust Musk? how can you be sure he's acting impartially and focused wholly on efficient use of money?

Wait until the fat trimming begins to impact you, you'll soon start crying :auiqs.jpg:
We trust Musk because President Trump appointed him the position to audit the government. He’s outside the government and isn’t a deep state shill that will do the minimum and help cover up the grift.

It's Dead Jim

Those still in the (USAID) system received messages to their work emails saying 'at the direction of Agency leadership' the headquarters building 'will be closed to Agency personnel on Monday, Feb. 3.'

The message comes after the Trump administration placed two top security chiefs at USAID on leave after they refused to turn over classified material in restricted areas to Musk's government-inspection teams, an U.S. official revealed on Sunday.

Boom!

Hmmm… can't reach this page

Check if there is a typo in www.usaid.gov.

We need 10,000 people to work at USAid but Musk wants to fire all of them.

Yes, you're good at those concepts.

I dislike Musk because he's a fascist white supremacist immigrant who wants to fire thousands of Americans.

That's fine but not what Trump said.

1) why do we need 10K people to work there?
2) I know
3) any proof of this? He's a facist because he wants less Govt? how's that work? Racist? You got a link? Sounds like you are just pissed that he might fire you for milking tax payers.
4) Yeah it was, he threatened to withhold aid we were sending them over a law that he doesn't like

The Dirty Democrat Politicians are even worse looters than the worthless Democrat Voters

The organization knows its own staffing needs that's why, just as other government departments do like the DOD. Will Musk fire thousands of defense workers or soldiers do you think? I wonder what Hegseth would think of that.

Well how does one identify a fascist? I bet you've never thought about it have you? Musk endorses using Twitter, the German far right, even participated in a rally of the AfD. Musk supports the British far right thug Tommy Robinson. Would a person who was not a fascist support fascism in other countries? what do you think?

Yes, Trump (acting on instructions from Musk) want's to influence the domestic policies of South Africa not save money. That's undermining democracy, something the United States has done for decades. It is for the people of South Africa to direct their country through their elected government not a foreign power that's servile to a billionaire.

1) ah so we don't audit anyone, because they know, they just know....hahahaha
2) A Fascist follows Facsism....people that want less Govt, aren't Facsist, That seems to be youjr problem, you have no idea what Facsism actually is.
3) Link to Musk ordering Trump please...I'll wait. If they were dependant on our aid, then they wouldn't be infljuenced. They should say they just don't want the money then.
