You really should try to get out more, step away from your trump shrine once in a while old chap.

I asked a waitress at a restaurant outside of Windsor Castle what was the best English dish they served.;

She said it was French cuisine.

One needs food with Budweiser, gotta get a flavor from something.
Agreed, but your English brews are pretty pathetic. You have to go with Guinness (Irish) or Tennants (Scottish) for anything with taste. Your Bass just doesn't cut it.

You've likely been visiting tourist traps, go out with some Brits who know something about ales.

The very best beers are of course also Belgian, Trappists especially, some of those monasteries have been perfecting beers since the 1500s.

Spaten has them all beat. Their brewery is over 900 years old. I do agree though, the Trappists make some good stuff.

My favorite though is Montieths, out of Nelson New Zealand.

Yes, they do nice lagers but that's all they do.

There are today only about twelve Trappist breweries left in the world, The US even had one but it shutdown, no doubt because few Americans appreciate good ales.

I've sampled most of them, the best for me was stunning Trappsites Rochefort No 10.

Its a tad strong, perhaps 11%, but without doubt the purity and smoothness of the flavor is as good as it gets. You can buy this at Total Wine and any decent beer stockist in the US. They also do a No 6 and No 8, also superb but the smoothness and flavor of No 10 is unlike anything you've likely tasted.

These are ales for conversation, sitting in front of a coal or log fire and philosophizing.

Agreed. Most breweries have a specialty that they stick to, so that's not an issue.

In the US there's Alagash Black and many others that are damned good.

There are also "Trappist style" some of which are astonishingly good, St Bernardus and the American Brother Thelonious perhaps my favorite US ale.

Not for me, but I know how to read.
I've been all over the ******* planet, dirtbag.

I could read at a college level since I was in grade school.

It's never been a stranger in strange land's ability to read that makes them feel at home.

I just moved from TN to KS and for the first few weeks I felt lost......and that's nothing compared to visiting another country for the first time.

So do everyone a favor and STFU.
