Nice move on the finishing goal. Stretch pass on the change and then the outside/inside move for the game.

Canadian men need to win, that is what the whole country watches. With the weak constitution of the nation right now though, a win by the women would have lifted some peoples spirits. It does not impact me one way or another.

I would rather win the mens gold if I am being honest, we will see . Both teams play tomorrow to see if they meet in the Finals on Sunday. The U.S womens team has been better than Canada all tourney so a silver in an OT gaame is probably overachieving for this particular group.

The problem is that this U.S team is still young. They could have many players back in four years.

I think it is bogus that checking an opponent into the boards is a penalty for women's hockey. I did not know that until Team USA received a penalty for that.

Body checking is normal play in men's hockey.

There should not be a difference.


I have watched over and over the women's team popping up for joy like guinea pigs all at once when the winning point was achieved.
