USA and the World Baseball Classic

The U.S. is 7 - 7 in the WBC (World Baseball Classic). There has never been a "Dream Team" in the WBC. There has also never been a U.S. winner in the WBC.

Can we please get a "Redeem Team" like the NBA had? I mean shoot, our pitchers can sit it out because their arms might get boo boos (pussies). But surely our sluggers should be able to pull a Lebron and Kobe and just win this thing right?

Seriously... 7 -7??? With Josh Hamilton, Prince Fielder, Evan Longoria, Buster Posey, Robinson Cano, Curtis Granderson, Matt Kemp...

This is America's pastime people. We should win it at least once. Am I right?

I would have to believe that the officials of the World Baseball Classic do drug testing on ALL of the participants from ALL of the countries.

Therefore, not very many major league stars are ever going to participate.
