How much more is making them pay their fair share?

Well, for one thing, they could pay taxes on every dollar earned on SS like the not-so-rich do.

The U.S. government posted a $258 billion budget surplus for April, up 23%, or about $49 billion, from a year earlier, reflecting strong tax receipts in the final month of the tax season and record collections of import duties, the Treasury Department said on Monday.

Treasury reported that customs duties in April totaled $16 billion, about a $9 billion increase from the year-earlier period and far eclipsing the previous record of $9.6 billion two years earlier. The jump occurred during a month in which President Donald Trump boosted tariffs on Chinese goods to as much as 145% while slapping at least 10% levies on imports of goods from other countries.

Promises made, promises kept.

The tax receipts were collected for TAXES OWED IN 2024 BEFORE TRUMP WAS IN OFFICE. Trump overspent Biden in the same period this year by 11%. All the spending was Trump spending. All the taxes collected for 2024 was Biden.

Well, for one thing, they could pay taxes on every dollar earned on SS like the not-so-rich do.

Why? SS payouts are based on what and individual pays in…they don’t need all that if they are rich. It doesn’t go into the general fund

And no most people don’t pay on every dollar they earn, in fact they pay 1/2, their employer, pays the other half

Which seems massively unfair
