You are right. NATO means to outsource your imperialism. Lately, NATO forces are that weak that they had to outsource to terrorist armies. Russia took the Crimea and NATO cannot do anything about it. Very obsolete. A threat to the world. Mad men on red buttons. Frightening.
The Western Oligarchs are among the most evil, greedy and amoral people ever born; which makes them utterly predictable once you understand them.
I had a job delivering various things in a town far from home one summer. And one of my fellow workers every day had to pass by this HUGE German Shepherd, in fact everyone that saw this dog thought it was a cross between GS and Rottweiler or something. It was as big as a small horse.
That dog scared the beejeezus out of this guy, I'll just call him Billy for now, and every day he had to walk past it, with it barking at him so loudly and he could feel the warm moist breath of the dog as he went down the sidewalk and feel the loudness of its bark against his shirt as well. He was scared to death of it.
So his team lead came over one day to visit him because he was calling in his first order later and later each morning, and Billy explained to the lead about the dog.
'Show me this dog, I gotta see it!' he tells Billy, and so they went to where the dog was sitting in the middle of the trash strewn yard looking the other way and panting with his tounge hanging out. The lead observed the dog and he saw that the dog was on a chain leash that was attached to the clothes line, and it looked like the line was wire, likely steel wire he observed. He then went up to the dog and whistled to get its attention. The dog came running over barking and howling at the lead like he was trying to kill the dog and everything it loved, but suddenly it hit the end of the chain leash, BANG! The leash was holding the dog back several feet from the edge of the sidewalk no matter how much it stretched and strained against the leash.
The lead looked at Billy and said, "You know, this leash runs along the clothes line perpendicular to the road and sidewalk. He cant get any closer." and the lead started barking like a fool at the dog and pissing it off, raising his arms and yelling. The dog just went hysterical, frothing at the mouth and sending gobs of slobber sailing through the air. The lead then looked over at Billy and said to him to come and try it, and so Billy did. The big old dog just barked and barked and barked, but he couldnt hurt Billy and Billy grew less afraid. Then the lead left and told Billy he wanted his numbers on time the next day.
And so Billy was on time from then on, but not only that but he was emboldened. He would walk right by the dog so close its breath would soak his sleeve but Billy was not scared at all. Soon he was not only getting close to the dog, but he would run down the alley getting the dog to chase him for about twenty feet then BANG! the dog would hit the end of the clothesline and get thrown to the ground.
Billy had totally lost his fear of that dog once he had come to understand its limits and how he could use those limits to his advantage.
Of course one day the dog hit the end of the clothesline for the final time and the leash broke free.
But that is a tale for another time, I guess.
The Western Oligarchs are a lot like that big old dog, and one can feel quite calm around them as long as you understand them.
