Yup. It's a war crime. So not only is Trump in violation of the law for starting a war without Congressional approval but he's a war criminal for targeting a school. Yessir ... Trump the war criminal. That's his new title.

US military investigators are reportedly assessing whether American forces were responsible, with some assessments suggesting it is likely the strike was conducted by US forces.
Deliberately targeting a school constitutes a war crime under the Rome Statute, and calls are growing for an independent, transparent investigation and accountability for those responsible.
