If it was DOA why did Johnson put it forward? The first plan had Democrat support. I don't think a pure CR has enough support on the Republican side, and hence needed Dem support.

Personally I agree with you. I am onside with a pure CR effective until the end of February or something to give the new admin time to get in place and start working on real budgets, but the poodle in my avatar has more influence than I do.
