860's had plenty of hours and host writes
new drives are faster and run cooler, around 87 idle
intel raid 1

it's snappy, instant everything pretty much

yes, two samsung 870 evo with intel raid1 as my main C drive

I have two 4TB drives in marvell raid1 for my media drives
