Sorry. But I remember when Democrats and Republicans shared the same values, mostly the same religion, love of America, sense of patriotism, respect for each other, love for each other. The difference between the parties was not anti-Americanism or hatred or toxicity but ideological. Democrats by and large saw government as the solution to issues and problems while Republicans looked more to facilitate and help the private sector move civilization forward. A one party system would become too much like a pure democracy which would be as destructive to individual rights as totalitarianism.

That is comical. Trump has divided this country like no other president. He did it purposely, studying surveys, finding ways to fan fear. FEAR. And he advocated violence. Beat up protesters at his rallies he told supporters. Told cops to rough up those they arrest. Said he could shoot someone on fifth avenue without repercussions. And look at your quote from Kirk, "What will you do about it?"--WTF do you think that means? Kirk advocated violence against the LBTQ community, at one point calling for their stoning, like in the bible.

Like the whole men in women's restrooms. Hell, that is just a throwback to the attacks against the ERA. It worked then, they figure it can work now. But now, well they are demonizing a tiny sliver of the American population. The Trans community. The Republican party sows fear, it is all they got. Kirk just jumped on board.

And that is just it. That is where the hope lies. Fear is the least effective motivator. It really is. I have ran highly successful sales teams across multiple different industries. Tangible products, intangible products. You rely on fear as a motivator, you're FIRED. It inevitably results in cancellations and charge backs.

Republicans and Democrats do share common ground. We all want to live comfortably, we all want to raise our families in a safe environment. I would like to think we all want our children to be better than ourselves. And we want a safe world to live in, one free from genocide, war, conflict. And while I want to lay the blame at the feet of Republicans, Democrats must also share that blame. Divide and conquer, that is all that is happening and it is time America wakes up to that.

I mean we are all being played here. You got a 401k, invested in the market, when you cash out, you pay the income tax rate on that income. But, if you are just investing in the market, non-qualified money, you pay capital gains taxes on that income, almost always lower than the income tax rate. WTF?
