In my house, my wife is voting Trump, but she always votes Republican. My daughters are both libertarian. My oldest daughter is going to follow through and vote for Johnson, but she lives in California (going to Berkeley) and admitted she'd go Trump if he had a chance in California a couple months ago. Now this morning my other daughter who lives here in North Carolina and has been solid Johnson told me she "may have to vote for Trump." She just despises Hillary too much.

I'm hearing from others around my area too who had been never Trump when he won the nomination say they are just too disturbed by Hillary and are starting to lean back to Trump. I'm sticking with Johnson. I meant it when I said I won't vote for someone who isn't a free market capitalist.

I live in Durham, which is heavily Democrat. And I've seen two Hillary signs the last few days. I'm not saying Hillary supporters will vote Trump, but if they stay home and Trump supporters turn out, this could get interesting

Johnson was so devoid of life energy, interesting points of view = what a huge disappointment he has been.

Bob Barr would be in the debates had he been the nominee this time.

My daughter who's at Berkeley went to Duke undergrad. Double majored in Math & French. She's getting her PhD at Berkeley in French now.

I was a Terp undergrad though. I've never been able to wrap my head around rooting sincerely for Duke anyway despite all the money I have invested in the place now ...

Also, a bunch of Duke departments were customers of my business before I sold it. A bunch of UNC departments too. They are only a few miles apart.

So anyway, I guess I'm safe

You mean you're voting for a guy who's lack of geopolitical knowledge makes Sarah Palin look like a international affairs genius?

Anywhere south of the PA line and east of Colorado is conservative and Republican. Blueberries in tomato soup can be deceptive.

Lol. I was just joking. I've always been a fan of University of Kentucky even though I went to school at University of Texas.

Not likely. Unlike Trump supporters, Johnson supporters are more diverse in age, race, and education. For example 13% of Johnson supporters are black or Latino compared to Trump's 6%. While less than 40% of Trump supporters are women, 51% of Johnson supporters women.

Would it really make a difference if most of the Johnson supporters turned to Trump. Not likely, because 7 of the 10 states where Johnson is the strongest are Red states that Trump is going to win with or without Johnson support.

Of course. In Trump they see a bit of a libertarian anyway. And Johnson supporters want to back a winner.

Just a minute. What is wrong with free market capitalism?.....This system allows me to make a living and get a fair price for the services I provide to others.
Are you somehow averse to your fellow American making a living to support his family?
Just give me straight answers. Don't beat around the bush.....Don't politic. And don't answer the questions with questions.
At the end of the day, the only alternative to free market capitalism is socialism. And you are voting for a Libertarian?.....WTF

Gotta ask...A Phd in French?......why?....Hope she's looking to public sector service as a career because unless a firm needs an interpreter who can speak French, prospects are somewhat limited......
Not to make anything into anything but many of the baristas at Starbucks have degrees in Language Arts and the Humanities.
I guess that is capitalism......
BTW, who is paying your kid's student loans?

I didn't say Trump will or won't win, just it would make it more interesting
