Liberal Mag Disses Hillary's Speech


The Atlantic cannot be labeled as anything but liberal. So, I was surprised to find this blog post with the following summation of her speech:


In her 45-minute address on New York's Roosevelt Island, a wooded sliver in the East River between Manhattan and Queens, Clinton laid out many proposals that Democrats care about. She did so in a speech that was almost aggressively pedestrian, devoid of soaring rhetoric or big ideas. “America can't succeed unless you succeed,” she said. “That's why I am running for president of the United States.” Clinton’s entire candidacy, it seemed, was built around a non sequitur.


To me, it was expected. She can never vary from the path set out for her by her husband and their leftist donors. It's the very reason she can never win.

Did she really just say "Unequal incarceration is a family issue"? WTF? So we need the government to make sure that we have equal numbers of Blacks and Whites being imprisoned to help families? Is she on Meds?

Maybe she thinks that incarceration should be proportional to the overall population?

And of course, there's also the need for prison day care.

It's hard to believe that an American politician just said that our justice system should take race into consideration when prosecuting a crime. How many blacks does she plan to let go free simply because they are black?
