I doubt that it is. There are more first generation immigrants in the US because of post WWII immigration, but many countries are currently taking in far more legal immigrants than the US.

The recent top 10 countries for immigration listed the total number of immigrants living in the country now, not how many are currently moving their.

The US had been strictly limiting immigration for more than a generation.
