The above happened almost 2 years go. Now last Friday, UNESCO declared that the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron, as well as Hebron's Old City, are World Heritage sites. But not only that, they are ENDANGERED PALESTINIAN World Heritage sites, and therefore must be protected. At a time when ISIS is destroying historical sites throughout the Middle East, UNESCO does nothing about that, but can only make up this false libel, because no one is a better custodial guardian of historical sites than Israel. I happen to agree that the Tomb is a World Heritage site--but it's a Jewish site, and not in any danger as long as it's under Israeli control. By trying to steal Jewish sites and make them their own, the Palestinians prove that they're fools and frauds. They are only reminding everyone about the enormous Jewish link to Israel, because the Tomb is where the Fathers and Mothers of the Jewish people* are buried. If they were really smart about it, they would shut up and pretend to be descended from the Canaanites.
