What can happen if we reject the Holy Spirit or what happens when you receive the Holy Spirit?
OIP (14).webp
The Holy Spirit lives a true life, he lives in the very essence of the believer's heart, he is like a burning storm, he opens the mind to clear your mind from the world you made for yourselves, meaning the mind must be clear, but because your mind is carnal, he must first get your attention, you would fight your thought, by refusing entry into your thoughts, but since he knows every thought, he feels why and knows, it could pleasant or it could horrifying how to get in and you wouldnā€™t know it but by the love he works in the life of a believer to you see, all believer will experience darkness first, youā€™ll see the darkness of your hands because you will refuse to let he enter your life to save you from what you cannot see at the moment, everyone fears the unknown, he will not show himself to you, you could not bear yourself from all his majesty it is to great to look upon him, see

Matthew 5: 8. For a carnal mind cannot understand, to see. the carnal mind must be clear from all sin and evil thoughts, resisting only leads to condensation a feeling drowning of heavy guilt, the body burning with sweat, your heart will be very heavy, but you wonā€™t die for the Holy Spirit maintain the life of a believe, this is being baptized by fire

What unbelief will do grieves the Holy Spirit you bring great distress upon you by denying the deity of the Trinity, by not confessing the name of Christ or the word in which it is written

Every sin is forgiving, but donā€™t be fooled, you still lost your salvation by rejecting

Your faith sees 2 Thess. 2: 1-2 the truth within you, then Satan comes in, if you donā€™t know it say 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

One prayer that mentions the Holy Spirit is the Nicene Creed, recited at every Catholic Mass.
I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

I was thinking about the Holy Trinity and the thought occurred that the Holy Spirit might be female.
The Father, the Son Jesus. and the Mother figure pulling everything together with the kindness of a Mother.
God the Father sees all and judges all, hopefully with forgiveness
Jesus is this universe's Son of God in a multiverse of universes
The Holy Spirit could be the Mother figure since we are made in the likeness of God.

Don't stone me as a heretic, I'm just sayin'.

Psalm 118:1-5 and 28-29 O Give thanks to the LORD; for he is good; because his mercy endureth forever. Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth forever. Let the house of Aaron now say that his mercy endureth forever. Let them know that fear the LORD says, that his mercy endureth forever. I called upon the LORD in distress; the LORD answered me and set me in a large place. Thou art my God, and I will praise thee; thou art my God, I will exalt thee. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth from everlasting to everlasting.

I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

Psalm 89:1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Psalm 51:1 Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word

Psalm 119:41 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

Psalm 119:77 Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.

Psalm 119:156 To the LORD our God belong mercies and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against him.

Psalm 51:1-2: I acknowledge my transgressions and my sin is ever before you.

Daniel 9:9 O my God, incline thine ear and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name; for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousness, but for thy great mercies.

Daniel 9:18 Evening and morning and at noon, will I pray and cry aloud; he shall hear my voice.

Psalms 57:1 Be merciful unto me, O LORD, for I cry unto thee daily

Hebrews 11: 6 I know, Lord without faith I cannot more you, my heart, I lord, that faith without righteousness also that I may honor in righteousness.

I thank God the Father God the Son and God the Holy Spirit Amen

Ok, I think you missed the point of my post. Your OP refers to the Holy Spirit as "he". Here is my thesis that it is a she....again:

"I was thinking about the Holy Trinity and the thought occurred that the Holy Spirit might be female.
The Father, Yahweh, the Son Jesus, and the Mother figure pulling everything together with the kindness of a Mother.
God the Father sees all and judges all, hopefully with forgiveness
Jesus is this universe's Son of God in a multiverse of universes
The Holy Spirit could be the Mother figure since we are made in the image of God."

I often what her name is. (assuming a Mother figure)

You reject the "Holy Spirit of God" when you reject the Word of God (2 Tim. 3:15-16). You don't receive the Holy Spirit, today you receive the "gift of the Holy Spirit".......that gift is truth from heaven as revealed by the apostles of Christ and other saints of the 1st century (Acts 2:38). You want the Holy Spirit to live in you? Open the Holly Bible and read His words of truth and apply them to your life. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit have ceased (1 Cor. 13) Today the gifts of the spirit are faith, hope and love.......with love being the greatest gift of the spirit. If you love Me.........follow My commandments (John 14:15)

Fuck that. There is no Magical, Mystical, Mythical Non-Existent Sky Man and he never had a son. Religion is a con, always has been and always be a con.

I, the Lord will say to the reapers, "First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them

Jesus told them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, 'We see.' Therefore your sin remains.
John 9:41 (NKJV)

explanation
that they which see might be made blind -- judicially incapable of apprehending and receiving the truth, to which they have wilfully shut their eyes.

This means YOU!

John 9:41 (NKJV) explanation... that they which see might be made blind -- judicially incapable of apprehending and receiving the truth, to which they have wilfully shut their eyes.
The key to understanding verse 41 is verse 39, ā€œI came into this world for judgment, so that those who do not see might see, and those who do see might become blind.ā€

Notice the use of the word "might."
