I don't particularly approve of what's happening in Gaza..... But you cannot eliminate the religious fanaticism that is actually the fuel for the entire situation. Nobody in Gaza will give up the idea that Israel must be destroyed.... Not the 90-year-old woman or the two year old kid....none of them.

Frankly I can't think of another instance in all of recorded history where a population was so single-minded on an issue.

Personally I think we should chop California in half and give the upper half to Israel and just move the entire nation to that spot. It's geographically equivalent and climatologically equivalent. They would actually have more room.
