Sheltering of strategic bombers was prohibited by the New Start treaty. Both sides - Russia and the USA paused it, but not cancelled yet. Now it's clearly ended. And the world made one big step towards the nuclear war, because even non-nuclear attacks cause "use it, or lose it" posture.
Yes, it's quite like that "Houthies/Carthels/whoever else" will attack US B52s and/or Ohio Submarines in bases by "their" unmanned aircrafts/boats.

There aren't toy drones like you at hobby shops or on TV ads.

A small drone carrying a high explosive bomb that costs $3,000 dollars.
Can hit and destroy a U.S. Abram tank that costs $10,000,000 or German Leopard tank that costs even more $$ millions to make.

There are several variations of drones for different applications.
Like smaller cheaper drones used against enemy soldiers for instance.
Or fly into enemy artillery and destroy it.

Drones are extremely cost effective and both Russia and Ukraine are ramping up production to make hundreds of thousands of them.

There is no war between Ukraine and Russia it's a war between NATO and Russia where NATO are using Ukraine as a proxy.
