The only thing presently missing are UN aka US and NATO troops going into action against Russia. Something NATO refused to do latest in Feb. 2022 (since they had never prepared themselves for such an eventuality), despite having enforced/provoked Russia via their Eastward Expansion policy.

Since 1991- the founding and recognition of an independent and sovereign Ukraine, every US administration has been in favor of Ukraine and the NATO-Eastward expansion. Incl. Trump who supported Ukraine with military assistance and NEVER budged from the US political embrace of the Eastward Expansion doctrine. E.g. extending NATO membership to Montenegro in 2017 and North-Macedonia in 2020.
