The head of Ukraine's military-intelligence service says Kyiv wants to set up a demilitarized border zone up to 60 miles into Russian territory.

Major General Kyrylo Budanov said the goal would be to prevent future conflict with Russia. "If they are not going to attack and don't decide they want revenge in a couple of years, this shouldn't be an issue," The Times of London reported Budanov said.

It's unclear how or when the zone could be created, especially with the current conflict showing little sign of ending.

That's a very generous offer. I would have thought 200 miles.

I think 60 miles is too small as well. What does that "buy" them--about 6 hours at most?

Russia can't allow Ukraine to stay as one state, it's impossible.
Unfortunately the war in Ukraine has only two outcomes:

Either it becomes a part of Russia or the world perishes in WWIII
Russian parliament predicts the war will continue not lesser as 10 years

The world will not perish but Russia will if it launches a large scale nuclear attack.

Do you know the only one unstoppable Kinzhal missile carrying only one nuclear warhead heading to Yellowstone would be enough to annihilate USA
No one of western MS presstitutes reports about the Russian Target # 1

They will never get it, whether needed or not.

Absolutely right .
Beyond Stupid .

Once the Coke Puppet has departed there might be grounds for a negotiated settlement. At this point Kyiv does not hold a single chip to even play with .

If it's not the CIA citadel @ Lviv pressing its NATO dildo towards Crimea, it's the effeminates of the SBU with their traditional sugar-plum ruminations to disturb the nights of white boys and girls.

The Kinzals don't have the range, they only have a maximum range of 1,200 miles. Any Backfires or Blackjacks would be shot down as soon as they entered the ADIZ IF the USA allowed any Russian bomber with live missiles on its pylons to enter international air space during a time of crisis. The most likely thing to happen would be the Russian would be intercepted by US fighters as soon as it entered international airspace and told to turn back, jettison its payload, or be destroyed.

Russia, like the USSR, has always been 30 years or more behind the U.S. in military technology. Russia also likes to brag about their military technology - often exaggerating, while the U.S is excellent in keeping military secrets.

Putin thought that this invasion of Ukraine would be over in 3 days - but then he found out about U.S. made anti-tank weapons. The entire Russian military doctrine based on overwhelming numbers of tanks came to a swift end.

The only reason the war in Ukraine is continuing is because U.S. military contractors are making a fortune from it and they do not want it to end.

Don't count on any Russian missiles ever making it to the U.S., but you can count on U.S. missiles incinerating Russia from one end to the other.

In Ukraine, nazi regime continue to prepare their citizens for a nuclear attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in order to justify Zelensky. They are already preparing their citizens through small video instructions telling them what to do in the event of a nuclear catastrophe. Go inside, close all the windows, take a shower,
Don't use the air conditioner... etc.

The video is distributed by Radio Liberty* An American organization that is like an octopus spreading its tentacles around the world, messing with people's minds.

Moscow calls on Guterres to force Kiev to refrain from provocations.

Ukraine is preparing to evacuate Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Region, which is located 16 kilometers from the Zaporizhzhya NPP.
The Ukrainian media have published documents that confirm the plans of the Kiev junta.
It is likely that there are no plans to hide the involvement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the upcoming provocation. After all, the masters of the Ukrainian Nazis will support them in any case.

The USSR wasn't that far behind. They made a lot of equipment, in the 80s as well.

It's also about mass producing newer stuff, I could go into details and compare it to WWII, but it should be obvious.

And as far as Russia mining the nuclear power plant, the US Congress has passed an act that if Russia blows it up, NATO will go to war against Russia.

My wife was an engineer in the Soviet Union. She programmed using Fortran...an IBM proprietary language. The version she used was 10 years behind IBM's current version at the time.

The USSR got most of it's technology by stealing it from the west...and the West fed it to them to ensure they were always years behind.

The geniuses in the politburo thought it was easier to steal from the west then to develop their own brain pool.

Their tanks...the heart of the Russian & Soviet military doctrine...still haven't caught up with the U.S. tanks of the early 1990s.
