Major General Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of Ukraine's Defence Intelligence, has said that the terrorist state has the time until the end of spring before it runs out of resources to wage an aggressive war.

Source: Budanov in an interview with USA TodayQuote from Budanov: "Russia has wasted huge amounts of human resources, armaments and materials. Its economy and production are not able to cover these losses. It's changed its military chain of command. If Russia's military fails in its aims this spring, it will be out of military tools."

I would have guessed six or seven months, but the recent complaints by Wagner Group about not getting enough ammunition clearly showed this was coming.

Russia knows this. While their rent-a-targets are out getting slaughtered in-land, Russia is digging in and heavily fortifying for a siege standoff along the coast. Ukrainians probably won't have the manpower or be supplied the necessary equipment to drive them out completely, so Zelenskyy will be forced by the west to the negotiating table once his forces are in the position Russia's are now.

And if China agrees to support Russia and provide them with weapons, what will Joe the shitter do then?

Mickey Mouse posting .
Do you really expect a Nazi in his position to say otherwise?
What about Ukey resources? Like fighting bodies , let alone munitions ?
They are down to mercenaries -- a lot of Poles - and bodies flown in by the US .
Home grown bodies are youngsters dragged out and not even fully trained and with no combat experience .

Too much time and not too much common sense , OP.

Laughable "news", man.

Why do you make this about Biden vs Russia? Guys, I'm a Canadian for crying out loud and I realize that there is much at stake. If you want to criticize policies go ahead, but let's not delve into the realm of "I want Ukraine to fail in defending their Homeland because it will make the Party I don't like look incompetent".

Ukraine was attacked, Their men are bravely fighting for their liberty. We should support them and pray they succeed. We don't need another global war now that we armed China and 20% of the world to the teeth.

The biggest factor is that the Ukraine's infrastructure will cease to exist and the Ukraine's men will all be dead by the summer.

That's not something for anybody to be joking about or celebrating.

The Ukrainians in Bakhmut and elsewhere are outgunned 10 to 1:

The Ukraine war has become a ferocious battle dominated by artillery and Ukrainian forces are operating at a huge disadvantage: Russia has numerical superiority of 10 heavy guns to every one at the disposal of Kyiv. Furthermore, Ukraine is running low on ammunition and requires urgent supplies of shells, Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s government has warned.
...
According to data from the European Commission to which EL PAÍS has had access, Russia fires between 40,000 and 50,000 artillery shells per day, compared to 5,000-6,000 Ukrainian forces expend. The Estonian government, which has been one of largest contributors to Kyiv’s war effort, puts the average use of artillery at between 20,000 and 60,000 Russian shells per day, and 2,000 to 7,000 Ukrainian rounds, according to a document sent to EU Member States by Tallinn, to which this newspaper has had access. These numbers equate to between 600,000 and 1.8 million Russian shells fired per month, compared to between 60,000 and 210,000 by Ukrainian artillery.
Over the last six weeks the Russian counter-battery campaign destroyed some additional 500 Ukrainian howitzers and multiple rocket launchers. The Russian Lancet suicide drones (videos) have done a lot of that work. Russia has thereby increased its own artillery advantage even more.

As artillery is the major killer in any modern war this also means that casualties on both sides will follow a similar ratio as the number of guns and rounds fired by each side.

For the last several weeks the daily 'clobber report' by the Russian Defense Ministry reported some 350-400 Ukrainian soldiers killed per day along the whole frontline. On Thursday that number increased to 640, stayed at 640 in Friday's report and increased to 880 in today's report. 490 of those were reported in the Bakhmut area.

BBC cooperates with other organization to count every announcement of a dead soldier in the Russian local media. Since the start of the war it has identified a total of 16,000:

Throughout 2022, Russian sources typically reported about 250–300 deaths each week, doubling in January and continuing to grow again in February.
Russian source report death per week at a lower rate than Ukrainian death per day. The ratio is again about 10 Ukrainians for 1 Russian. That number of Russian dead has doubled in January and further increased in February says the BBC. But the 10 to 1 ratio between Ukrainian and Russian dead will still have been the same.

You promote RT.

Enough said.

We all should resist the temptation to try to fight an armchair war. This is about Russia's resources depleting.

It appears that China is ready to fill Russia's needs of munitions if Russia experiences a shortage.
Whether or not Russia 'will' is difficult to determine at this point, due to the increasing propaganda efforts as Bakmuht falls.

What is it going to take to beat Russia if China enters the war with Russia?

If China enters the war directly then all bets are on the table for including the US and Nato countries.

China won't immediately enter the war but will contribute to Russia's munitions needs if Russia calls for help.

'If' Russia needs and receives China's help indirectly then that will alter the entire complection of the war for America and will call for escalation by America in some yet unknown way that will avoid dispensing with all the agreed upon limitations.

Both America and Russia are in this war for the win.

The only certainty is that the Ukraine loses it's identity, and that's already done.

Never in the history of America's many proxy wars has the proxy suffered so greatly!

There is no reason to think Ukraine will run out of soldiers or its allies will not provide the weapons and ammunition it needs to drive Russia back to its internationally recognized borders.

China's economy is heavily dependent of trade with the US and EU so any aid China might provide to Russia to prolong this war would come at a heavy price to China's economy. Russia's monthly revenues are down nearly 50% because of the sanctions and China would have no reason to want to suffer the same fate just to save Russia.

Keep that thought!
Any expansion of the war against Russia by China sending military aid, is going to call for America matching that escalation in a similar way that doesn't include direct involvement.

The question is, what will that be?
I can only see increasing the boots on the ground involvement of Americans and Europeans on a mercenary basis.
Which incidentally, is already in progress.

There are plenty of reasons whether you see them on or not. The most obvious of which is that the US government is going to be scrambling for cash in a few months when we are the only country delivering on its promises thus far and our ability to produce artillary shells for them is stretched beyond our limits already. We are not going to be giving them the top shelf bunker busting capabilities they are going to need down the road. Right now, we are just clearing out our inventory of grandpa aged armor and equipment to make room for more for us. Getting money for Ukraine out of this highly polarized congress is going to be a feat going forward.

Again, the US and EU combined account for nearly 40% of the global GDP, and if China lost access to this enormous market its economy would grind to a halt, so why would China want to make such an enormous sacrifice to save Russia?

The answer is, it won't.
