Ukraine certainly deserves better from Germany, which has mainly sent excuses.

French support has been underwhelming as well.

They've both done a lot more than they get credit for. Germany has sent more than France, but the PR from Sholz has been so bad that Germany catches a lot of flack they probably don't deserve.

Neither country publicly discloses most transfers. France has supplied 18 Caesar SPG's and Germany is at 10 of the PzH2000. Those get attention because they are high-profile systems and they are publicized to show the support for Ukraine. Both countries have provided MANPADS and ATGM's, and mines and other infantry weapons, ammunition, body armor and so on.

Germany played a big part in getting the WarPac weapons from Eastern European countries by backfilling with NATO equipment. France provides daily satellite imaging and intelligence updates to the UA...

Deliveries are not tapering off, they are still ramping up and the training programs are bringing up the numbers. One big constraints is just the low numbers of the precision guided munitions that have been produced. Some of what is going to Ukraine is current production that's being diverted from the intended recipient.
